KTRU’s “Scordatura” show hosts an interview with Dominika on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 3-4.15 PM.

The fascinating topic – the idiom of Polish postmodern music of the 20th century and the featured composers: Wojciech Kilar, Krzysztof Penderecki and Andrzej Panufnik.

Dominika will share political, intellectual and emotional perspective on some of the most profound bits of Wojciech Kilar, Krzysztof Penderecki, Andrzej Panufnik and Grazyna Bacewicz.

The music is amazing – it is enough to mention that some of earlier Penderecki pieces were widely used in Hollywood films such as “The Shining”, “The Exorcist” and many others.
